Hello! You have made the courageous decision to either continue your mental health journey or just begin it. It may have not been an easy road to get here, but you did it! And I am tremendously proud of you. I have been working professionally in the mental health field since 2018, but mental health has been an integral part of my life for as long as I remember. My philosophy in therapy is that you are in charge of your mental health and I’m here to take that journey with you for as long as it fits. It might be for a few months or a few years. Whatever it is you need/want, I hope that I can help you! Being apart of the queer community I am tremendously aware of judgment, whether internal or external, that comes with exploring what’s within our mind. I look forward to meeting you where you’re at in this process. Feeling like it’s going to take a while to get to the thing you have been struggling with? That’s okay! Let’s talk about that relatable social media post you saw or the TV shows you’re watching. This process is 100% for you and I want you to know that you have the power to direct our time together. I tend to come from a relational perspective (I.e. how our first relationships affect our life today) as well as a client-first stand point. With a little bit of Internal Family Systems (how the different parts of ourself interact with each other) thrown in. I would love for you to come as you are and be as open and honest with me as you are with yourself. I look forward to working with you!
